I reside in the beautiful hillsides of Northeastern Oklahoma. I have been an Unbound student since the Fall of 2016. I am almost a Junior and currently working towards a BS in Economics from Liberty University. My passions include reading history books, engaging in political debates, backpacking, camping, playing the drums, ministry, and travel. My hope for APEX 2019 is to help create an experience that will reach out to and engage those who have never been to a student event before; to ignite a passion in current students for learning and for our community; and to facilitate the creation of meaningful relationships for our students that will last a lifetime!
I hail from the great country of Texas. I’m just a simple country girl at heart who loves anything that remotely classifies as an adventure! I am majoring in Christian Leadership and Management through Liberty University, and I have been an Unbound student for four years. I am so excited for the opportunity to plan an amazing APEX for y’all that will bring everyone closer together and form friendships that will last you a lifetime. Prepare yourselves because APEX 2019 will be bigger and better than ever!
I hail from the great state of Minnesota. When I'm not planning APEX awesomeness, I enjoy writing, hiking, and playing with my new little son Clarke. I've been around the Unbound community since 2014 and, as a result, I've seen a lot. I like to think that this, combined with my affinity for cardigans, tea, a clean sheet of paper, and a good pen makes me the old man of the team. Nevertheless, I applied for a position on the Cabinet because I feel this is a unique time in our community and I'm going to do my absolute best to make APEX 2019 the most spectacular event Unbound has ever seen. I also believe that before we launch into our generation's own "Roaring Twenties", we ought to go out with a bang. With that, I'm excited to see you in a few short months. You're not gonna want to miss this.
I am from the frozen lands of Minnesota. I have been apart of Unbound for a little over two years. I am currently working towards a degree in Psychology: Christian Counseling from Liberty University. I recently finished working at a Bible camp after three years as the Program Director (main reason I’m taking so long in getting my degree haha). After I left my camp, I attended APEX for the first time this past summer and absolutely fell in love with the people and the place! I’m super excited to now have the chance to be on the Cabinet this year and plan an amazing week for you all. I’d like you guys to know that there are plans in the works right now that will go down in APEX legend because of how awesome it’s going to be! I really can’t wait to show you guys these plans and help you guys meet some really incredible people from the community! SEE YOU THERE!
I live about an hour north of Charlotte, North Carolina. I’m passionate about Jesus, good art, guitar-playing, and telling stories that fortify the voiceless. I graduated with a degree in history from TESU in the spring of 2016. Since 2015 I’ve been involved in the Unbound student community and I’ve truly been blessed with the friendships I’ve made, the practical content I’ve learned, and the inspiration I’ve received from so many great people. My hope for APEX is that we, as Unbound students, can make a real difference in our world with our closest friends at our side! Can’t wait to see you there!
I’m from Chicago, IL (which is the only other living option in Illinois besides cornland ;-) ). I am a commissioned artist, freelance designer, and marketer! Most of y’all might know me as the crazy energetic ideas guy. I live in the big picture and have audacious dreams for APEX. My hope for APEX 2019 is to design it specifically for students, graduates, and alumni alike to link arms together to achieve big life goals. Each one of you has a unique mission (whether climbing the tallest mountain or being extraordinary at the ordinary), and I’m striving for this APEX to cater to you. I can’t wait to see you guys there!
I am from the corn-ridden state of Illinois. I have been an Unbound student majoring in Liberal Studies since September 2017, and I have loved every minute of it. At home, I am crowd control for my six younger siblings, Revolutionary War re-enactor and cannon operator, experimental baker, long-distance runner, and product tester for a distribution company that my family owns. I have a passion for serving people, inspiring them, and pointing them closer to Jesus. I am honored to serve you all this year as part of the Cabinet. Believe me when I say that APEX 2019 is going to be the most mind-blowing event of the century. See you all there!
I live among the beautiful mountains and valleys of Waynesboro, Virginia. When I started earning dual-credit almost six years ago, I could NEVER have dreamed of the impact the Unbound community would have on my life. After graduating with my BSBA in Accounting from TESU last summer, I became the Vice President of the Student Leadership Initiative, building projects and friendships to last a lifetime. When I’m not on a meeting with the Cabinet or the SLI, I teach English online, work part-time for a CPA, help with my church youth group, perform in local musical theater productions, and write color-coordinated to-do lists. I love making people laugh, cooking and eating just about any kind of food, cheering for my Denver Broncos, and spending time in the mountains. My prayer for APEX 2019 is that YOU walk away feeling overwhelmingly loved, practically equipped, and incredibly inspired. I can’t wait to see you there!
